Police searching for missing child person of interest in Ohio triple murder

Devin was last seen at a residence located 15497 St Rt 93 on 10-11-2017.

The Ohio Attorney General's Office has canceled the Endangered Missing Child Advisory for an 8-year-old child in southern Ohio.

The Lawrence County Sheriff's Office says the three people were found fatally shot inside a trailer on State Route 93 in Pedro, a tiny community in a remote area east of Portsmouth. Three adults inside were found dead from apparent gunshot wounds, according to a news release from Sheriff Jeff Lawless. A fourth adult found stabbed at a nearby residence was flown to a hospital. Deputies lost Lawson in a wooded area. In the course of the pursuit, Lawson crashed into a ditch and fled on foot, according to the release. Police officers from all village agencies, the Ohio State Highway Patrol, the Ashland KY Police, and the Huntington Police K9 unit assisted in the search for Lawson but he was able to evade capture in the darkness.

Anyone with information about Lawson's whereabouts should call 911 or contact the Lawrence County Sheriff's Office at 740-532-3525.

"We are in the very early stages of this investigation and can not compromise the investigation by divulging more information", the sheriff said.

The Twitter account for Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine tweeted that the missing child advisory for Holston had been canceled but didn't provide any details about the boy's condition or if he were safe.

As part of an ongoing investigation, The Lawrence County Sheriff's Office is now attempting to locate Devin Holston. He was last seen Wednesday night at approximately 7 p.m.in the city of Pedro in Lawrence County.

Deputies say they are also searching for Aaron Lawson, 23, as a person of interest in the case.
