The blue Wagon R, which became synonymous with Kejriwal's aam aadmi image, was presently being used by AAP's media coordinator Vandana Singh. The police are working on some clues and hope to solve the case soon.
The vehicle was known to make headlines when Kejriwal travelled in it to campaign for chief minister's post, which he won in Jaunary 2014, said India Today. The Wagon R was called the "AAP Mobile" as Kejriwal had used to sleep and camp in it during many protests. Currently, an AAP volunteer Vandana belonging to party's media cell was using the auto, according to DCP (Central Delhi). Singh is said to have filed a police complaint at the IP Estate police station about the theft that occurred at around 1 pm.
After using it during his famous 49-day-stint, Kejriwal gave it to Naveen Jaihind, the party's Haryana incharge. Kejriwal had also used it while campaigning during the 2013 elections. Jaihind used the auto for campaigning for the Lok Sabha polls in Rohtak before Vandana took possession of the vehicle.
