Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 Launching Today in India on Flipkart Exclusive

The launch of the Mi MIX 2 also marks the first premium smartphone brought to India by the Chinese firm since the Xiaomi Mi 5 was released back in March of previous year.

The company launched the Mi Mix 2 in China last month. It will be Xiaomi's most expensive device in India.

Apart from the display, which we have already detailed, the regular edition of the Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 specifications include dual-SIM support (Nano-SIM), a Snapdragon 660 SoC, 6GB of LPDDR4x RAM, dual rear camera setup (two 12-megapixel sensors, one with an f/1.8 wide-angle lens and the other with an f/2.6 telephoto lens, offering 4-axis OIS), a 16-megapixel front camera with 2-micron pixels, up to 128GB of inbuilt storage that isn't expandable via microSD card, and a 3500mAh battery. Notably, the Mi MIX 2 India launch will be the first premium smartphone the Chinese firm has brought to India since the Xiaomi Mi 5 back in March a year ago. Users can watch the live stream via company's official social media handles. Since then, there is a huge gap in the launch of a flagship device from the company and Mi MIX 2 is all set to fill that gap. Xiaomi had also unveiled the Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 Special Edition with 8GB of RAM, 128GB of storage, and a full ceramic body at CNY 4,699 (about Rs. 46,000).

"Mi MIX gave everyone a glimpse of what the phone of the future would look like". From the Mi MIX 2's unique launch, The handset accompanies a 5.99-inch Full HD sans bezel show with 18:9 aspect ratio, 403ppi and DCI-P3 shading extent.

Mi Mix 2 comes with 6 gigs of RAM. Xiaomi at the China launch event claimed that the Mi Mix 2 is smaller than the iPhone 7 Plus despite having such a large display. Up front, there is a 5-megapixel camera with the Beautify mode, 1080p video calling feature and a selfie countdown feature.

The bezel-less smartphone with 6GB RAM and 64GB storage comes at a price of RMB 3299 in China, which in India roughly translates to Rs 32,390.

The smartphone measures 151.8x 75.5 x7.7 mm and also incorporates a fingerprint sensor placed on the rear panel.

With Flipkart, Xiaomi has broken many selling records in India. The Mi Mix 2 mobile will be Flipkart exclusive based on tweets by the e-commerce website.
