Phone Slow

For users registered in the Apple Beta Software Program can immediately download their devices to iOS 11.1 Public Beta 2. What many failed to notice these past weeks though is the absence of the Free App of the Week section in the App Store.

According to data from more than 100,000 devices running iOS, Apple's system updates do not cause phones to slow down. In doing so they often get more complex as new features and technologies are added, which can lead to the app performing worse over time as the smartphone has to do more when the app launches and during its general operation.

If you were hoping that iOS 11.0.2 was going to fix all the problems with latest version of Apple's operating system, you're going to be disappointed.

The update also features characters previewed at the World Emoji Day on July 17, which include a woman with a headscarf as well as a bearded man, a breastfeeding woman, a zombie and a person in a lotus position. While there's no release date for that yet, you can probably expect it to arrive later this month.

The good news is that iOS 11 makes it customisable.

Apple has made some improvements to its photo-editing settings, too. You will get the gloves, baseball cap, a trenchcoat and obviously a scarf to make you feel warm in winter. Isn't it hateful? Imagine buying a smart device with excitement and the moment you take it in your hands, it starts irritating you.

Emoji was characterised as the fastest growing language in the United Kingdom by 2015 and it is said to be evolving faster than many ancient types of communication.

Do Not Disturb While Driving This supposedly mutes notifications when your iPhone is connected to your car's Bluetooth of wi-fi (if your auto does indeed have either of these). The beta will help Apple shorten the list.
