VIDEO: Josh Rosen Makes Brutal Decision, Results In Pick-Six

WATCH: This throw by Josh Rosen is why NFL scouts are drooling

Rosen, considered one of the top quarterbacks in the country, was 34 of 56 for 463 yards and four touchdowns for the Bruins (2-1).

Rosen's outsize personality has earned him as many critics as fans, and after injuries torpedoed his sophomore season and drummed up the intrigue ahead of what could be one final campaign before the National Football League draft, he was expected to string together enough solid on-field performances this season to match the hype.

Both teams managed to answer the opponents' scores through the game.

Ferguson completed 23-of-38 passes for 398 yards and six touchdowns.

After trailing 27-24 at halftime, UCLA took a 45-41 lead with 11:45 to go on a 22-yard touchdown pass from Rosen to tight end Austin Roberts. Andrews finished with 142 receiving yards and the two scores, while Caleb Wilson led the team with 208 receiving yards. Unfortunately for UCLA fans, Rosen also kept Memphis in the game with several boneheaded throws.

"I'm just so happy for these players, for these coaches, for this community", Norvell said right after the game.

In a game Saturday afternoon that possibly featured the number one draft pick in the upcoming NFL Draft, the University of Memphis pulled off an historic win. It is hard to imagine they will not drop out in next week's poll after losing to an unranked team. While they might not crack the Top 25, it's likely Memphis will be on the ballots of some voters.

Memphis faked a field goal late in the fourth quarter, a move that almost backfired in a disastrous way.

In an offensive-oriented game, it was a defensive play by Memphis defensive back Jacobi Francis that secured the victory. "There were mistakes that were made against a really good football team", Norvell said.

UCLA has been vulnerable against the run thus far this season and on Saturday will need to find a way to slow host Memphis, which displayed a dominant rushing attack in its season-opening win.

For the third year in a row, the Tigers have taken down a top 25 team at home. The American Athletic Conference announced Thursday that the Tigers-Knights game is rescheduled for September 30.
