Hardly a game set to follow in the footsteps of the opening two games in the new Premier League season, that saw 13 goals scored in 180 minutes, West Brom ran out victors in an exciting game that saw set pieces be decisive once again at the Hawthorns.

Another summer arrival, Jay Rodriguez, also made a strong first impression on his debut, particularly early on. "I'm excited at the opportunity of trying to get some of these players in", Pulis said.

"We know what we're after and we are desperate to bring them in, but must be patient". The 139-year-old football club's parent organizations are Guangdong Palm Landscape Architecture Co., Ltd. and Yunyi Guokai (Shanghai) Sports Development Limited.

"I believe that there's a tremendous talent pool in there and if that talent can not be realised immediately within our own ranks it is vital we get them out into league football to continue their development and education".

"We only have 17 senior pros so we need to and we've got a few at the top age so it just needs restructuring". "They were fantastic, the supporters today, I thought they were brilliant".

"I watched two games in the African Cup of Nations and I liked the two Egyptian centre-halves, him and the lad alongside him (Zamalek's Ali Gabr)", said Pulis. We had the most shots on goal and the most corners. "But even though there is that predictability, you've still got to find a way to win and we didn't do well enough in possession", said Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe.

West Brom were much the better side and made their dominance pay in the 31st minute as Chris Brunt swung a right-wing free-kick to the back post, where Hegazi rose to head through the legs of Begovic and in.

Pulis has introduced youngsters such as Sam Field and Jonathan Leko to the West Brom first team during his time in charge.
