After saying goodbye to the beach house they shared five years ago, the rambunctious crew are together once again on E!'s Reunion Road Trip: Return to the Jersey Shore. Their docu-series initially ran on MTV 2009-12.

The first official teaser for the brand new series Road Trip Reunion has finally been revealed.

"Love my roomies forever", Polizzi wrote in a post that included a video with her, Sorrentino, Sammi "Sweetheart" Giancola, Jenni "JWoww" Farley and Pauly "DJ Pauly D" Delvecchio. Polizzi and Farley Wednesday and became mothers after the show ended while while Ortiz-Magro now appears on another reality show "Famously Single".

After the show had already been teased by the cast online, E! officially announced Friday that the one-off special "Reunion Road Trip: Return to the Jersey Shore" will air August 20.

They also argued that a majority of the cast was from NY, not New Jersey.

I guess we know where all of Pauly D's Jersey Shore money went!

"Negative for New Jersey", Christie told ABC-TV's Jake Tapper in 2010.

However, Sorrentino admitted that even if he and DelVecchio were very close during the reality show's run from December 2009 to 2012, the two of them were not in touch for the last five years. "I mean ... what it does is it takes a bunch ... of New Yorkers, drops them at the Jersey Shore, and tries to make America feel like this is New Jersey".

In May, New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie signed legislation inspired by Polizzi to cap what state public universities can pay speakers.

Fans of the show were just as excited as Polizzi that the "Jersey Shore" cast was reuniting and took to Twitter to celebrate.
