Dileep's bail plea targets Manju Warrier, Sreekumar Menon and Liberty Basheer?

The DGP added that since this case is in the court's consideration, he can't reveal more about it. Now, the mastermind Dileep has accused his wife Manju Warrier of framing him. The actress was assaulted back in February and the final report of the case was submitted three months before the arrest of mastermind Dileep. They also equally influenced media persons, police and political leaders.

Dileep, charged under various sections of the IPC, including for hatching criminal conspiracy for abduction and assault of the actress in a moving vehicle on 17 February, is now lodged in a jail in his home town Aluva.

Dileep's mother Sarojam visited him along with Anoop. According to his bail petition, Meenakshi made a decision to stay with Dileep even after he got a divorce from Manju Warrier and this was without any one's influence.

The police have said on Saturday that the WhatsApp message sent by Dileep to the DGP regarding the call made by Pulsar Suni from jail can not be considered as a complaint.

Meanwhile, latest reports are that the actor had also mentioned the name of his daughter Meenakshi in the bail plea.

The High Court bench has adjourned the hearing of Dileep's new bail application on August 18. He pointed out that Manju and her current partner, VA Srikrishna Menon who is an adman had spread the false allegations against him. He also doubts on the allegations because he was arrested just months before his daughter was turning 18 which would enable his ex-wife to get the custody of the daughter.

It may be noted that Dileep's name surfaced in connection with the case merely days after the February incident.

Nevertheless, the police is sticking to their stance that Dileep filed the complaint on April 20. His version that he filed a complaint through WhatsApp can not be accepted as they got his formal complaint only on April 22.
