Glazers to sell two percent of Manchester United shares

Jose Mourinho has no new injury concerns after a very successful pre-season, which integrated all three new signings very well into the squad, with Lukaku, Matic and Lindelof all likely to start at the Theatre of Dreams. But on the eve of the 2017/18 season, which team has the best attack in the Premier League?

He has been given the funds to inject quality into his team, to address the problems David Moyes and Louis van Gaal failed to correct.

Following a whirlwind summer than has taken them from Los Angeles to Skopje, Manchester United are finally set to begin the new Premier League season. Yes, they've lost some players too, but they still have the prolific Sergio Aguero and have a squad capable of challenging in the Premier League and Champions League.

With United unable to make the breakthrough, the trophy went to Blackburn instead.

"It's not urgent, not desperate to have it done or not done", said Mourinho. And he has already matched that amount this summer.

Champions Chelsea have made some big moves in the transfer market, although manager Antonio Conte is keen to do more business before the end of the month.

The French midfielder will be looking to link up with Lukaku, his close friend. Lukaku will be counted on to replace Zlatan Ibrahimovic's goals but he managed 25 for Everton last season and is now reunited with his former boss at Chelsea.

Mourinho acknowledged this week that Real Madrid's Gareth Bale was out of reach after the Welshman started for the Spanish side in their 2-1 European Super Cup win over United.

After signing a new five-year contract at Chelsea, the England under-21 worldwide has headed out on loan again to Swansea to gain Premier League experience.

And their debut will come at home against West Ham United this Sunday.

With Diego Costa widely reported to be leaving the club, the main striker is Alvaro Morata, brought from Real Madrid, and while he is an undoubted talent, he is untested in English football.

Abraham will have a wise tutor in Fernando Llorente, if the Spaniard stays at Swansea, and another successful season could see him return to Stamford Bridge ready to challenge for a first-team place. Then, Mourinho will know whether his work is, once again, on the right track.
