Prepare for Hong Kong, Operation Blood Orchid Confirmed for Rainbow Six Siege

Rainbow Six Siege Operation Blood Orchid is out August 29
Six months after its last major expansion, Ubisoft has finally unveiled "Operation Blood Orchid" for Rainbow Six Siege. This is the second update in the game's year 2 content, and will be coming to players of the game on all platforms on August 29th. These new operators include two from Hong Kong and one from Poland. Two of these, codenamed "Dazzler" and "Caltrop", will be a part of Hong Kong's Special Duties Unit (SDU), while the third will be a female member of Poland's GROM counter-terrorism division. There is also a new multiplayer map in the mix, which appears to be set in a theme park of sorts. While the operators are free to play for those with the Season Pass on August 29th, everyone else can access them on September 5th and must use in-game currency for unlocking them.
As for what fans can expect to get with this new update, there will be a new map and three new operators to check out. There has been no official confirmation from Ubisoft but a similar location was seen briefly, and probably unintentionally, on the Rainbow Six Siege online tactical board.
Although little is officially known about Operation Blood Orchid, today's brief teaser backs up previous leaks in recent weeks. That said, more will be revealed the Pro League finals on August 26, including a live demo of the map.
