Hitting 600 screens in overseas, the multi-starrer offering performed outstandingly in the foreign countries.

Yes, you might be hearing the word "toilet" multiple time throughout the film but you will soon get comfortable with it. Keshav (Akshay Kumar) decides to install a washroom in his home after his wife Jaya (played by Bhumi Pednekar) leaves him because she was unable to convince her in-laws to construct a washroom at home. Akki's latest celluloid is expected break the box office records created by his previous film released this year. Both are staying in two nearby villages near Mathura.

PM Modi also tweeted about Toilet: Ek Prem Katha.

The film deals with the issue of open defecation in India with 58% of Indian facing the problem. Bhumi is refreshing to watch on screen and matches Akshay Kumar in every possible way.

Keshav (Akshay Kumar) runs a small cycle business in Mathura with his father and younger brother Naru (Divyenndu Sharma).

The film portrays all the characters positively. However, the repetitiveness may hamper Toilet: Ek Prem Katha's impact. The celluloid, which is directed by Shree Narayan Singh, received average response from the audiences in opening day.
