VIDEO: Tim Tebow greets autistic boy in on-deck circle, hits home run in next at-bat

St. Lucie Mets outfielder Tim Tebow pops out during the game between the St. Lucie Mets and the Charlotte Stone Crabs at Charlotte Sports Park in Port Charlotte Fla. on Sunday

Tim Tebow stopped warming up before his at-bat to shake an autistic boy's hand and followed it up with a monster three-run home run, a new heartwarming video showed. As Tebow stepped up to the plate, he blasted an opposite-field home run, all caught on Ileana's wonderful video.

It's been said before, and it's time to say it again: Tim Tebow has a flair for the dramatic.

Bosch waved at Tebow and, to the child's surprise, the star walked over and shook his hand through the netting.

In the top of the seventh inning of the St. Lucie Mets game against the Charlotte Stone Crabs on Jul. 29, Tebow was in the on-deck circle and a fan Seth Bosch, who was nine at the time, wanted to meet him.

Bosch suffers from neurofibromatosis and has high-functioning autism, and his family says that it's tough for him to play sports due to the former condition that causes tumors to grow on nerve tissue. "And then Tim hit the homer, I started crying too". Tebow stepped into the batter's box and clubbed a home run. "I think God brought Seth and Tim together".

After being promoted to St. Lucie, an advanced Class-A team, Tebow hit a home run on his first day. The umpire called time, while Seth began waving for Tebow to come over.

His mother videotaping the interaction as he went down to the on-deck area to get Tebow's attention.
