Bayern Munich CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has confirmed that the club are not in the chase to sign Arsenal winger Alexis Sanchez this summer. Apart from that we will play in a different climate. "It wouldn't make any sense", Bayern's chairman Rummenigge told German magazine Kicker.

Alexis Sanchez has said he wants to play Champions League football next season, offering his strongest hint yet that he would like to leave Arsenal.

Bayern had reportedly been vying with Manchester City to sign the 28-year old from Arsenal, but talks on contract extension at the Emirates have been stalling any possible move.

"I know they're not going to win it but if you're in it you're going to be playing bigger games and at the moment you're taking away 20-dd goals and 10 or 11 assists, and he's a handful".

"It depends on them".

According to an exclusive report from Italian website TMW, Arsenal want to sign Kalidou Koulibaly from Napoli this summer, but they will struggle to seal a deal for the Senegal worldwide. Arsenal missed out on the Champions League last season by finishing fifth and will play in the Europa League instead. "It's a dream I have had since I was little".

And it is claimed Sanchez's camp believe Arsenal will eventually succumb to his demands and sell him before the end of the current transfer window.

Both players were involved in the two pre-season friendlies in Australia, with Lacazettescoring just after coming on against Sydney FC in the first friendly.
