The Los Angeles Lakers' first-round pick has played five summer league games.

Lonzo Ball's second Summer League game was the first shred of living up to the hype that has been talked about nonstop throughout the past year.

He averaged 26.4 points, 8.7 assists and 8.6 rebounds per game this past season.

Here's a look at the Curry high-tops Ball wore.

The South Bay Lakers stud scored 10 points in the period and capped off a 16-4 run with a breakaway, and-1 layup that gave the purple and gold a 74-72 lead.

Ball tried to jog it off in a back hallway in the third quarter, but he was hobbling a little bit and was shut down for the remainder of the game. His 12 assists were as many as the Cavaliers had as a team.

Lonzo Ball's sampling of signature shoes across major basketball brands will continue on Sunday in the form of Jordan 31 sneakers. Ball kept people guessing Thursday when he jogged onto the court in a pair of James Harden's signature Adidas shoes.

Lonzo's father, LaVar, confirmed to ESPN that the last three games have been a message to companies on what they can have while still affirming their Big Baller Brand is worth $1 billion.

LaVar Ball also said he's still open to Lonzo signing a shoe deal with a more established brand. "I already played in both of my shoes, might as well get the "Mamba Mentality" going". We want him to set the pace for our team, set the pace for the game. "Their pace in the first half kind of killed us, and they were getting easy layups in transition and getting to the rim at will".

From there, Ball branched out to other brands. Lakers summer league coach Jud Buechler said it was too soon to tell if Ball would be available for the championship game. "So credit to them". Asked whether his shoe choices are part of a master plan, he noted: "You could say that". The Los Angeles Lakers will be in good hands for years to come with Lonzo Ball leading the way. "I'm just throwing it to him". They'll face the Brooklyn Nets on Saturday.

Then, in another Summer League game, he wore some Under Armor kicks.
