Thrilling New Behind-the-Scenes Footage of Star Wars: The Last Jedi !

17 July 2017, 04:27 | Melissa Porter

"Star Wars: The Last Jedi" premieres in theaters December 15. Blood-red is clearly the colour we're going to associate with this film's build-up, a colour usually reserved for Sith Lightsabers and lava planets, so you can bet your behind we're going to get a little somethin' something' about good, evil, and potentially blurring the lines.

Over the weekend, Disney's epic fan convention D23 took place in Anaheim, California where the big players from the Mouse House took to the stage to talk about future projects. "So The Last Jedi in all the things that it means is tied up in it". However, instead, we got a new behind-the-scenes video presentation that is equally as cool as it features cast and crew of The Last Jedi, led by writer/director Rian Johnson talking about what we can expect from the blockbuster. And as a core member of the franchise family herself, it's safe to say Fisher was on everyone's minds at the event. Hamill, 65, used his speech to pay homage to Fisher, sharing what it was like to come back and work with her again on 2015's "The Force Awakens". "I know for me it does". Given that there's a chase scene in Looper that haunts my dreams to this day, I can absolutely believe that there will be a few unhinged moments in The Last Jedi.

Experiences and games teased so far include "Holochess", which is modelled on the game played by Chewbacca and R2-D2 in Stars Wars Episode IV: A New Home, and Lightsaber battles that will have you wielding a saber and battling enemies.

Ridley added she was having mixed feelings while watching Princess Leia's scenes in the upcoming film.
