Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite adds Jedah from Darkstalkers

Jedah of Darkstalkers fame was revealed as a playable character in Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite today during an exhibition.

Jedah is a 6,000 years old dark messiah, and the youngest of the high nobles of Makai. He has also made appearances in 2004's Capcom Fighting Evolution, 2008's Cross Edge and 2012's Project X Zone. That leaked list is looking more and more legit as new characters from it are being confirmed.

Earlier in the exhibition match Gamora, a popular character from Guardians of the Galaxy, was also shown shown for the first time. Making the game more approachable to new players might be intentional as Capcom attempts to draw in new fans. It is now under development by the "Street Fighter EX" series developer Arika and it includes characters from the series like Skullomania, Shirase, Garuda, and many more.

The gameplay (above), posted to YouTube by FGC Area, gives us our first look at the two characters.

The game title is "Blazblue Cross Tag Battle" and it will be a crossover between "Blazblue: Central Fiction", "Under Night In-Brith Exe: Late", "Persona 4: Arena", and the phenomenal anime "RWBY". Gamora, on the other hand, was already spotted at Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite's story trailer, unveiled during E3 this year.

The game will be released on September 19th, 2017 for the PC, PS4 and Xbox One platforms.
