In addition to the reveal trailer of Trunks, it was also announced that there will be a Dragon Ball FighterZ beta for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, and registration to participate will start on July 26. Personally, this writer hopes that Piccolo and Krillin are the next Dragon Ball icons who'll be playable during the beta phase. Both were interviewed at EVO 2017 which is happening now. This is not surprising as it has been hard for third parties to make this happen. Hiroki, however, iterated that, as of this writing, they are working on the Switch version of "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2". He stated that they are now focused on bringing Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 to the Switch first before moving on to the next project. Hiroki said that stage changes will happen so you will see the likes of Namek getting destroyed as you play. This can include buildings and more getting erased by fireballs and more.
Dragon Ball FighterZ producer Tomoko Hiroki went onstage at EVO 2017 to introduce a new trailer for the game. You can see him action in the 45-second trailer below, which reminds us that Dragon Ball FighterZ isn't due out until early 2018. More details about the game will be shared later this year. The 2D graphics and over-the-top gameplay capture the spirit of the original anime series, drawing interest from Dragon Ball fans all over the world.
