Honda Introduces The “Minnie” Van Carly Schaffner
The Minnie Van is going to feature its worldwide introduction in front of the audience gathered at the Disney D23 Expo in Anaheim, California and will be on display as part of the "Minnie's Style: The Fashion House of Minnie Mouse" exhibit.
Hondaannounced Thursday that it has created a custom "Minnie Van" out of a 2018 Honda Odyssey. It also gets Minnie's huge ears and signature pink polka-dot bow, making the vehicle less than ideal for trips to Disneyland and its maze of multi-story parking lots.
The bi-annual D23 expo presents three full days of "inside-the-magic" experiences including exclusive sneak peeks at upcoming Disney films and a look at what's coming to Disney theme parks.
The Minnie Van is a unique collaboration between Honda and Disney-ABC to create a one-of-a-kind minivan inspired by Minnie Mouse. The Odyssey gets a custom pink wrap with white polka-dots, a staple of Minnie's style.
One lucky victor gets a new Honda Odyssey (unfortunately not this one) and a grand prize vacation to Disneyland.
"The all-new Odyssey was developed for modern families offering high-tech features, flexible seating, and new styling, all aimed at keeping everyone in the family happy", said Susie Rossick, Honda marketing assistant VP, in a statement.
