Manchester United Agree $45million Fee to Sign Play Breaker

Monaco's Tiemoue Bakayoko to add steel that Matic lost after the 2014/15 campaign

The Premier League champions have already lost out to Manchester United in the race to sign Belgium worldwide Romelu Lukaku.

There have also been some reports that a medical broke down at Chelsea on Friday and Bakayoko's tweets have only served to fuel speculation.

However, the newspaper says Matic and his representatives have held talks with Chelsea chiefs and made it clear he wants to leave with the midfielder hoping to seal his exit by the weekend.

Chelsea announced on Friday that Brazilian midfielder Lucas Piazon has signed a two-year contract extension ahead of another loan move to Fulham. He is now in rehabilitation after undergoing a surgery at the end of the season and, according to The Guardian, will undertake a full medical at Chelsea on Friday.

Soon-to-be Chelsea midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko has revealed that Brazil legend Ronaldinho is the player that he looked up to the most when he was younger.

Italian publication Corriere dello Sport have reported that Inter Milan have emerged as suitors for Nemanja Matic.

Chelsea however, are open to Matic leaving the country instead of signing to a direct rival, not excluding United.

Neville is, however, of the opinion that United need more cover and feels Matic, as a proven Premier League performer, would tick all of the boxes.

Reports earlier this week suggested that the Red Devils could also hijack Chelsea's deal to sign 22-year-old Bakayoko from the Ligue 1 champions. There were strong indications last week that the Brazilian left-back was contemplating a move to the Bridge but it's now being claimed that "he wants to stay in Italy".

Sandro has seven caps for Brazil and joined Juventus from Porto in 2015, winning Serie A in his two years in Turin.
