"We do have a chance of thunderstorms here in the Valley, in addition to the chance of gusty winds from the storms in the area", said Elizabeth Padian, a meteorologist at the Weather Service. Dry and warm conditions will return next weekend.

High temperatures will be in the middle to upper 80s through Wednesday. Mostly sunny Thursday through Monday, highs around 100. Highs will be in the upper 80s.
