A rap group backed by China's government is warning South Korea in a music video that "you're going too far" with the deployment of a US missile defense system, as Beijing seeks to bring its state-supported cultural forces to bear in the global dispute.

U.S. Secretary of State Rex Tillerson on Thursday urged North Korea to "trust the U.S." on its promise of no hostility and to refrain from conducting anymore nuclear or missile tests so as to create the right atmosphere for talks.

Tillerson was also quoted as saying he hopes the North will trust the USA despite what it considers the burden of risks involved in doing so.

At the United Nations, North Korea's deputy ambassador, Kim In Ryong, was defiant.

A spokesman for the Italian mission to the United Nations, which chairs the U.N. Security Council North Korea sanctions committee, said on Friday that a member of the U.N. panel of experts who monitor sanctions violations had been hacked. -South Korea joint exercises, and that the drills should be suspended if North Korea agrees to end nuclear and missile provocations.

North Korea has feted the scientists and technicians behind its latest missile launch with a parade on the streets of Pyongyang, the state news agency reported on Friday. It's just a distraction to keep us from paying attention to the real problems we have in this country.

A special envoy of South Korean President Moon Jae-in held a series of meetings with U.S. congressional leaders on Thursday as he forged ahead with his mission to reaffirm and further strengthen the alliance between the two countries under the new government in Seoul. In this regard, the ambassador of the United States, Nikki Haley laid accusations on North Korea for all the reasons mentioned above.

Kim accused the council of playing "to the tune of the USA again" and protested the Trump administration's demand for countries to choose allegiance between the United States and the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, his country's official name.

Kim In Ryong also dismisses allegations that North Korea was behind the recent global cyberattacks as "ridiculous", saying "whenever something odd happens it is the stereotype way of the United States and the hostile forces" to launch a campaign deliberately linking it to Pyongyang.

"The U.S. should mind that the DPRK nuclear striking capability will be strengthened and developed at a rapidly high speed as long as the U.S. insists (on) its anti-DPRK policy, nasty nuclear threats and blackmails, sanction and pressure", Kim said.
