Are Sean Spicer's White House Press Briefings a Thing of the Past?

Vice President Mike Pence left White House senior adviser Jared Kushner centre
Noting that she's been in constant contact with White House staff, Guilfoyle said, "I'm a patriot, and it would be an honor to serve the country".
Guilfoyle's confirmation of the discussions comes at a time of persistent speculation that Mr Trump was looking to clean out his communications team, with the President reportedly blaming Mr Spicer for much of the negative media fallout from his decision to sack Federal Bureau of Investigation director James Comey.
Guilfoyle, 48, is a former San Francisco and Los Angeles prosecutor who was married for four years to California Lieutenant Governor Gavin Newsom.
She was reportedly considered for press secretary during the transition, although Spicer ultimately beat her out. "I think it'd be a fascinating job ... you need someone really determined and focused, a great communicator in there with deep knowledge to be able to handle that position".
"I actually said today, let's not ever do any more press briefings", Trump said during an interview with Fox News's Jeanine Pirro last week. But saying it would be "tough to beat" is hardly backing down from her statement in the interview, in which she pretty clearly stated that even though she loved Fox, she'd totally leave for a White House job.
PRESIDENT DONALD TRUMP: Yeah, he is, sure. "And they'll be in the room, and you have to see, the way they ask questions, I want, I want, screaming and there's never been anything like this".
"Kimberly is a valued member of the FOX News primetime lineup, and is under a long-term contract with the network".
Three days later in the Fox News studios, Guilfoyle claimed that description matches her.
'You've got to insist on getting in front of POTUS, talk to him, and have like five, six minutes with him before you go out there and take the podium.
But Trump's patience with his communications team has waned since last week, when Spicer and others failed to deliver a succinct message to the media after learning that the president had sent a termination letter to FBI Director James Comey. "It has to be someone with a very close by relationship, where there's trust there, there's inborn loyalty, someone who's been there from the start", adds Kimberly Guilfoyle.
'He's dedicated himself to this public service.
"I think I have a very good relationship with the president", Guilfoyle said.
Thomas injured, Celtics find new low in Game 2 loss to Cavs
Cleveland is just playing too well right now and an NBA Finals matchup with the Warriors is inevitable. "The game's over. Thomas will have additional tests Saturday and will be re-evaluated before the team determines his status for Game 3.
Trump tells Russians about firing Comey
Reports of a memo from Comey indicating Trump had asked him to drop an investigation into Flynn rocked Washington and Wall Street. The Justice Department on Friday distributed prepared remarks that Rosenstein delivered to Congress in separate briefings.
Comey to testify before Senate intel committee
The notes were taken from inside the office and circulated "as the official account of the meeting". The FBI's investigation has bedeviled the Trump administration, and the president personally.
Trump should thank Rosenstein for naming a special counsel
If Mueller wraps up the probe relatively quickly and finds no damning evidence, that would also be a boon for the White House. President Donald Trump's inner circle has included white supremacists and potentially compromised foreign players.
