New 'Grand Theft Auto Online' Update Adds Crazy, Top-Down Tiny Racers

Grand Theft Auto Online is due to receive another update in the for of Tiny Racers, a "new spin on classic" GTA action, that's described as "retro-inspired stunt racing". While the initial description was admittedly concise, many assumed that it would be a call-back to the old-school 2D era games by giving us a deathmatch scenario as seen from above. This mode, along with some in-game 4/20 deals, have just been announced on the official Rockstar website. You can catch the trailer right below.

In other news, today is the 20th of April "420", which has arisen in some circles to be associated with marijuana and is considered to be "weed day".

Oh, weed green tire smoke is also 50% off today.

In addition, you'll also have your choice of power-ups that will lend you a hand over the course of the race as well, enabling you to damage enemies either from behind (with weapons) or from up front. Since "Grand Theft Auto III", every game in the venerable franchise has been a free-roaming, 3-D experience.

"The sustained performance of Grand Theft Auto 5 and Grand Theft Auto Online is a remarkable achievement and a testimony to Rockstar Games' tireless commitment to excellence, especially since these titles initially launched more than three years ago", said Take Two CEO Strauss Zelnick at the time.
