Xiaomi launched its Mi 6 flagship smartphone on Wednesday with a dual lens camera and latest processing technology, as it looks to recover after a tough year.

The smartphone has been launched in China and there is no word on when the company plans on launching the phone in the global market. It is coming up with Snapdragon 835 processor, 6GB of RAM, 3350 mAh battery, 12 Mega Pixel Dual Camera and with many other advanced features. It delivered a smartphone that looks and feels high-end. The Chinese company went a different route from past year when it announced the Mi 5 at the Mobile World Congress. And keep its price accessible.

Xiaomi Mi 6 rumors has created all kinds of speculations surrounding the 2017 flagship of the Chinese company. Coming to the Xiaomi Mi6, the device packs only the Qualcomm's flagship mobile processor, Snapdragon 835 SoC. Not many, and none for this price. The fingerprint sensor is placed on the lower side bezel.

Other than that, the appearance of the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 in the list of the online smartphone seller has thrown some clear light on the configurations of the device.

There's also optical image stabilization and 4K video recording. Which isnt entirely unlikely given that the newly announced Mi 6 and Mi 6 Plus both have the chip.

There's no 3.5mm headphone port onboard, so you'll need to either connect a pair of headphones to the USB Type-C port, or use a wireless Bluetooth pair.

The size of the display is quite peculiar.

For starters, you're getting a 5.15-inch display with a dual 12MP rear camera setup that mimicks that of the iPhone 7 Plus.

Elsewhere there's 6GB of RAM, a 5.15-inch display as seen on the Mi 5, and a 3350mAh battery. Xiaomi knows this, which is why the new Mi 6 features cutting edge hardware, a great price, and a pretty cool camera setup on the back. The resulting images should be clear and sharp. Moreover, the Mi 6 runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat, and may also be IP68-certified. All the variants have the same features, except for the storage configuration. It came with 16GB of inbuilt storage with no expandable storage support. Color options include Blue, Black, and White. There's also a special ceramic version of the handset that will cost about $435. The Ceramic Edition may come in limited stocks so better have it before it is gone. Xiaomi even added 18-karat gold rims to the cameras.
