Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 World Premiere 5 Facts to Know

Gunn says that ELO's "Mr. Blue Sky" soundtracks the "most hugely insane shot I've ever done" in the film. "But for me, personally, the rule has always just been stay as good as I can possibly be, and stay one step ahead of the curve, and stay unique, and stay myself". I mean, May 4 (come on, any self-respecting Marvel fan is going to be seeing it during premiere night). Why?

Asking a Marvel fan to pick their favorite superhero movie is like asking a parent to pick their favorite child.

The current Guardians team consists of Star-Lord (Chris Pratt), Gamora (Zoe Saldana), Drax (Dave Bautista), Rocket Raccoon (Bradley Cooper), Groot (Vin Diesel), with Mantis (series newcomer Pom Klementieff), Yondu (Michael Rooker) and Nebula (Karen Gillan) joining the team in the latest film.

We tend to agree with Pratt here and we haven't even seen the film. And, according to the proud parents, Jack really loves seeing his folks on the big screen.

"It's the ideal song to start the movie", says Gunn. He sits through movies.

Chris recently said having his wife and son with him on the promotional tour has brought him "back down to earth", as he admitted being a movie star can sometimes feel like you've got your "head in the clouds". Some we knew about thanks to the trailers and TV spots, but for the most part, these are surprises. Most of the responses are positive, with critics calling it "a whole heap of fun", "surprisingly emotional" and "action-packed". "He's growing up in the circus whether he likes it or not".

Fandango's Erik Davies wrote: "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 is exciting, funny, gorgeous & a helluva tearjerker".

"In fact, he's at home right now with his babysitter watching the first one", he explained.

- Anna Faris (@AnnaKFaris) April 19, 2017Now it's getting real.

While Faris was anxious the candid pics would annoy her husband, Pratt said he found her tweeting "endearing".

Following recent press screenings, the social media buzz for the film has been mostly positive, so I don't care if it's 3 hours or how long it is, I just can't wait to finally check the film out.
