UP: Allahabad Nagar Nigam seals two slaughter houses
In the presence of Kareli police, Nigam officials sealed two slaughterhouses running illegally in Atala and Naini area.
The Allahabad Nagar Nigam (ANN) authorities on Sunday night sealed two slaughterhouses, which were operating despite a ban order. Hence speculations were rife in the media that the newly formed Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) will take immediate against slaughter houses or order their closure on top priority. Shutting down of illegal slaughterhouses was a prominent poll promise of the BJP and the initiation of the process has begun just a day after government formation. "The next government will shut down all the slaughter houses in UP", Amit Shah said during the conversation.
The new chief minister had vowed during poll rallies to shut down slaughter houses across the state if they had voted to power.
In his first press conference after taking oath as UP CM, Adityanath had said that all promises made by Bharatiya Janata Party in its "Sankalp Patra" will be fulfilled. Humari sarkaar lok kalyan ke liye kaam karegi.
