Box Office collection: 'Badrinath Ki Dulhania' set to make Rs 100 crores

Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt-starrer Badrinath Ki Dulhania has been having an excellent run at the box office with impressive collection right from the opening day. The film has beat Akshay Kumar's Jolly LLB 2 second weekend business of Rs 15.75 crore. The Shashank Khaitan directed movie earned an amount of Rs. 83.77 Crores in India until Saturday while the theaters witnessed a decent crowd on Sunday as well.

Coming to its lead cast, BKD is Alia's 2nd highest grosser till date after 2 States (104 crores). And this time they have delivered an even better performance than Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhaniya.

According to Box Office India, the film has taken its total revenue to Rs 88.77 crore by adding Rs 17 crore to its pile of earnings over the second weekend.

Varun and Alia's third collaboration for a Hindi cinema has influenced a major chunk of audiences who were eagerly awaiting to see the pair of superstars together on big screen. Thus, Badrinath Ki Dulhania continued its winning streak by dominating new releases.


While Varun Dhawan is all set for his 3rd - 100 crore film with Badrinath Ki Dulhania after Dilwale (148 crores) and ABCD 2 (107 crores).

The rom-com, which released on March 10, has minted over Rs 92 crores at the Indian Box Office.

The worldwide collection of Badrinath Ki Dulhaniya on its 11th day of release is expected to acquire nearly Rs. 4.62 Crores and if everything turns out well for the film, it might even touch the 100 Crore club soon.
